I am refurbishing my exhaust manifold and want to paint the carb shield the correct color. As i need to paint it, why not the correct color?
So, was it painted or left raw?

Much thanks

I guess the ultimate confirmation would be one fresh from parts inventory that had never been installed on a car. Never seen that but the ones I've seen on what appear to be carefully restored and detailed engines are engine green.

That makes sense as the fuel pump heat shield is engine green.
Thanks
