Hi,
Starting to put it all back together after cleaning it up. There is this vacuum check valve on the throttle body that I think needs some help. Inside is a rubber seal that mostly seals in one direction, but not completely. Soaking the throttle body in a gallon of Carb Parts Cleaner probably wasn't the best move.
I can't seem to find it listed in any parts plate or online. Can these be serviced and/or does someone know where to get one with fresh rubber seal?

It should seal off completely in one direction. It's a vacuum check valve, it's purpose is to maintain vacuum in the power brake reservoir after the engine has shut down. You'll find it in the parts list under brake parts. Usually just cleaning them restores them to working order but your choice of solvent may have damaged the surfaces; no doubt new ones are available from the usual sources but if not, there are generic vacuum check valves around for general industrial use that you could substitute.

If you need another valve Mike Dulinski may have some used or the vendors should have an original NOS. Depending on cost, an alternative is to keep the non functional valve in place for looks and then somewhere out of sight in the long length of hose before the Tee fitting splits off hoses going to the brake unit and reservoir add an inline check valve such as this one.mcmaster.com/#4610k17/=1cr5970 There may be metal versions available or with some fittings you could configure a brass setup but for more money. As long as it is away from manifolds and protected from high temp, the plastic version should be satisfactory.
