I believe 1934 was the last year for a factory-bodied Touring and 1936 was definitely the last year for a factory-bodied Phaeton. Neither was a volume seller; here are the estimates for the Tourings and Phaetons.

EIGHT, total production 5120 cars
Touring, 40
Phaeton, 27
Sport Phaeton, 16

SUPER EIGHT, total production 1920 cars
Touring, 14
Phaeton, 9
Sport Phaeton, 19

TWELVE, total production 960 cars
Touring, 15
Phaeton, 6
Sport Phaeton, 6

BDC, I've been trying to come up with better pictures for you to show the difference in seating position and capacity between the phaeton and the touring. Finally found these from the 7th Series Eight sales brochure, both are Model 7-33 (same wheelbase).

Thanks O_D! It looks like that the touring backseat is on top of the rear axle, and the phaeton in front of it.

O_D, the last year for the touring was 1936, all in the senior line of course. Here's a picture of the 1936 Twelve touring.

BDC, thanks for refreshing my memory, touring style available thru 1936 in the senior car line. Discontinued at the same time as the phaeton.
