BDC, I've been trying to come up with better pictures for you to show the difference in seating position and capacity between the phaeton and the touring. Finally found these from the 7th Series Eight sales brochure, both are Model 7-33 (same wheelbase).

Thanks O_D! It looks like that the touring backseat is on top of the rear axle, and the phaeton in front of it.
O_D, the last year for the touring was 1936, all in the senior line of course. Here's a picture of the 1936 Twelve touring. Attach file: (11.71 KB)

BDC, thanks for refreshing my memory, touring style available thru 1936 in the senior car line. Discontinued at the same time as the phaeton.
