I am restoring a 1940 Packard Coupe Convertible. Does anyone know
someone in Connecticut that can take my rebuild kit and rebuild this transmission with R9 Overdrive? Appreciate the help.

If you were considering professional restoration shops, then I can recommend Byron York at Restorations by York, 231 Ethan Allen Highway, Ridgefield CT. 203-431-1314.

Concur on Byron York.
Packard Club Member Bill Aske has significant experience with R9's...you should look him up too.
