Chris, The best way to tell is to look in the parts book, find the part number for your car, then see what else it fits. I have an original of the book if you can't find it here so don't hesitate to ask!

The Packard Parts List under the Main Menu on this site is a good reference.
Group 1.023 for wheel cylinders shows part numbers 302950 and 302951 for left and right rear wheel cylinder assemblies for most 6 cylinder and 120 models from 1935 to 1941 plus some applications for 1941-47 Clippers and 1948-50 models.

I'm not much on the older cars, but didn't they have a screw in bolt (plug) to keep the dirt out of the bleeder? It's hard to tell with the picture but look closer and see if it looks like a bleeder and bolt (plug) are both there.
Wes
Sorry I looked at your other picture and I can see where it is missing the bolt (plug).

That is a bleeder and it is indeed missing its cover screw. I had forgotten about that type but it explains an odd hose I found in my toolbox from my prewar Packard days (I'm not prewar but the Packards were) which is apparently for this type of bleeder.

Here's what one of my brake cylinder looked like and missing it's slotted screw to keep dirt out. Mine had slotted screws in them.

Good Evening...Do you all ever wonder if our Packards would make a few impolite comments regarding their treatment over the years. I know 'Miss Prudence' would in a couple of instances! Ernie in Arizona

Once I'm at my shop (it's 550 miles away) and if I can find it again, I would be happy to IF I still have it. The hose was old and brittle so I may have thrown it out. It was nothing special, though, just a hose with a threaded fitting and seal on the end that matched those on the bleeder.
