My father went to Detroit for the introduction of the 1941 models. He was most likely at the event pictured. He talked about the dealers visiting the plant and being able to watch the Packard they would be getting assembled. It was a dealer drive-away and the cars would be demonstrators when they arrived at their home dealership. His Packard was a 120 touring sedan, two toned green with radio, heater-defroster and overdrive. It was sold to the Museum of New Mexico-School of American Research. It was used as a staff car for many years. He bought it back in 1960 for something like $35. We used it for a few more years.
