I saw a 1940 120 Packard that had chrome headlight housings and no running boards also had 4 stainless trim pieces on each fender Is this an option that the 120s had?

IT is a conversion done by Bohman & Schwartz, they would remove the running board add a rocker panel, two chrome strips, add a chrome stone guard to the front of the rear fender....cost about 60.00 for the pair, including paint job. Chrome headlight trim not part of the package.

Sounds like Gene Beardslee's car. I'll see if I can dig up a picture from 1952.
