Door handle clips

Home away from home

Where in the world can i find new ones..all of my handles are falling off..for the 55 patrician.

I picked up a repro set for the outside handles for one of my Pats at PI's tent at Fall Hershey waaay back in the 1990s.

I think they've been redone and improved in recent years, but I don't have any details on the maker. Perhaps others who have purchased them can chime in - mebbee add them to the Packard Directory here.

Check outrestorationspecialties.com/
Look under special supplies (page 171 of the 2008 catalog) You may also find at a local parts store or dealer selling AUVECO products.

The clips i see say for all chrysler..do they work for packard as well?

If the 51 and 55,56s are the same.Kanters or Merrit has them,Not cheap.New manufacture.This part holds the handle on. Brian

No, I don't think so and my apologies. I got my doors mixed up and was thinking of the round wire type. I have seen them though--maybe in the Auveco big catalog or vendor sites-- so let me do some digging and try to remember where.

If you are in a large enough city, can also look in the yellow pages for fasteners, industrial and see if you have any dealers locally. They can take one look at the old one and tell you if they have something.

Thanks HH, I have contacted some of the local fastenall places and they do not have anything..These were AUVECO distributers..
