Our Early Third Series pseudo-seven passenger sedan....

I just thought I would share with the community the unique additional seats in our model 264 sedan.
There is an Earl C. Anthony plaque over the steering column. Unfortunately, we don't have any other history of the car.
Apparently it had an amateur restoration in California and was brought to Galveston, Texas.
I have no idea who installed the two occasional seats... E.A.C? original owner? restorer?...but I would really like to know if anyone else has similar seats.
They are hinged on the back of the front seat and supported by a single two piece tube...one sliding into the other.

Does anyone know what the 'K.F.I.' stands for? Salesman's initials?

Bob, KFI was the radio station identifier which Earle C. Anthony owned in Los Angeles.

KFI radio is still broadcasting, it's a talk radio AM station in Los Angeles. Very interesting car - strange little bar stools in there! Looks like a lot of fun to drive.

Yes, it is a fun car to pile friends in and put-put down the road.
I have been documenting the existing sedans for about 10 years. So far I know of 5. The serial numbers go from
264-1411 to 264-14743.
American Cars catalog states that 24,668 326s were made. Unfortunate there is no breakdown by model, but the serial number range indicates at least 14,000 model 264 sedans.
With only 5+ remaining...I say that they made good battleships in the war!
Unfortunately, rarity does not drive value....when you compare it to '57 Chevys.
