In the past month I have got 2 odd private masseages from packard info. Maybe they are scams. 1 wanted to know if I knew anything about Amelia Earhart. The second 1 said that he was in need of help with a Packard and needed 3 or 4 people to help him with advice. Also wanted me to go to another web site. He said that no 1 on packardinfo responds like the site is dormant. I have never had that problem . People have always responded to me on packardinfo. And I will try to help anyone but this seems suspicious to me and I did not respond. I wanted to let others know.

Thanks for the heads up. If it smells like a scam, sounds like a scam, gives you a bad feeling that it might be a scam, then it is a scam...Never, never respond!

Also never click on any link the scammer has put in his email or go to any of those sites the scammer is trying to get you to. Otherwise, it will infect your computer with spyware and viruses.

Wary is the watchword.

I've had same experience as 29Tons. Someone asking for help with a 120 convertible..very strange.

I recently got a very similar message which I thought odd too. Replying doesn’t hurt anything but just avoid being sucked into anything!
