The parking lights on my 120C sedan convertible are on the side of the headlight bucket. (see attached). This seems unusual since I have looked at many photos of Packard headlights on '30s cars and none have parking lights on the headlight buckets. Parking lights were available as an accessory in '37 but on the fenders only. has anyone seen the setup I have?

your headlights look to be later sealed beam conversions. I suspect the parking/directional lights may date to the same modification.

I've never seen anything like that. I have sealed beams in my '37 and am a bit jealous of those. Pretty cool!

Whomever made the modification did a very good job - they look like a factory install.
