I've tried several times to post a short reply but all I get is a white screen and the post never appears! This new thread seemed to have no trouble but the one I am trying to reply to is long so is there a limit as to how many posts a thread can have?

Same as people having problems with posting on CL pickings.
Seems to be more likely to happen the more links are in the post.

It was not a reply to a long thread but the thread itself has lots of photos and scans. My reply was just a sentence so was short and finally posted after many tries. I had even tried logging out and back in but it made no difference so must have been a temporary glitch since it finally worked.
