Not aware of any new exact replacements or used ones available but you can get rubber matting that might do the job from Restoration Specialties--restorationstuff.com or
Metro Moulded Parts--metrommp.com Some Packard rubber floor mats I have seen have vertical stripes and that type of matting may be available. The rubber matting in my car has a pattern like looped carpeting and although that type of rubber matting was previously available I have not seen any lately. If you are unable to find the looped carpeting like type of rubber mat, perhaps a matching color (black?) looped carpeting might be the most authentic looking replacement.

Thank you and I had thought of those things but the factory mats have non-ribbed borders that can’t be done using a sheet of rubber and I am not keen on sticking in non-authentic bits such as carpet even as a last resort.

Thank you, Ernie! I didn’t think they ever made anything so large but I’ll ask.

I'm still looking for this mat for my 1951 and it need not be perfect as I have none at all right now. It's the same as used on the lower-end Packards from 1951-1954 on the models that didn't have front carpet.
