Looking for a paint/ paint code that would match Ditzler crane gray. The print that I have for the 34 Packard generator vent shows crane gray for the large front vent.

I cannot find crane gray on the color library and or google search. I did contact the Ditzler/PPG and they could not help.

Was crane gray used on any other parts?

Sorry, no help with the paint code but two comments:

1. Crane Gray was the paint Packard used for their factory reconditioned cylinder blocks, you'll see it mentioned in the 1934 Service Letters.

2. Since I bought my '34 back in 1963 I've looked at a lot of 11th Series Eights and Super Eights, on those that appear unmolested I can't recall ever seeing the forward generator scupper in anything other than crinkle black.
