1935-37 Senior radio head bulb

The bulb in the radio head is stamped MADE IN USA but mine does not have a number, but it looks just like a 1445 with a BA9s base.
The 1445 is a 12-14v which would work but debatable whether it would be as bright as a proper 6v bulb.
Notice that the filament of the original bulb is much smaller than the 1445.

1. Does anyone know the number of the original bulb?
2. Has anyone had any experience with replacing the original bulb with an LED?

Thanks for looking.

Bob

The 1937 115C owner's manual calls out for a Mazda NO. 51. Under the heading of "Instrument Board Radio Control Lamp".

I bet the senior manual has a "Light bulbs" section as well that lists all the bulbs.

But typically, a 51 was used on all dash gauge lighting in most Packards.

I had some trouble finding mine but NAPA had them. A bag of 4 was $5. Nice to get something at a good price!
