Why a battery disconnect switch is important!

This is what remains of my pristine Dodge Brothers DK8, a rare example. (even rarer now I suppose).

Ah geez, that really stinks. I hope nobody was hurt. These wood containing bodies can really burn fast.

Is it restorable?

OK, problem resolved. All the bulbs blew at once, hence why i thought it was a fuse of some sort. I was having battery problems (connection and charging) when I was showing the family. Some combination must have caused all the bulbs to blow at once. I now have installed a new battery and I look forward to its maiden voyage soon, even at night!

Thanks for everyones help.

Hope your maiden voyage is trouble-free.

As to all bulbs blowing at once, I told you that story of how that happens and how I did it once as a kid - stupid stunt.
