Sorry we seem to have hijacked the oil pressure sender thread.
I would think that any oil pressure sender has to have a three wire system to give an accurate pressure reading. A two wire pressure element would just be a light indicating low pressure. Unless it’s a specific resistance in the meter movement circuit. Like an RTD in temperature circuits. Not common theses days.

Yes, it uses a specific 10–73 ohm resistance and the gauge is likewise calibrated.
