I believe the factory item has three horizontal bars and different uprights. Could this be aftermarket?

It could well be after market.
I found that the 1941 model 120 had a rear bumper guard that looks sort of like this. classiccars.com/listings/view/1754492/19 ... le-in-morgantown-pennsylvania-19543

I have a '40 110 sedan with '41 bumpers on it; the grille guard has three bars.
My incorrect bumpers were removed from a beautiful '41 station wagon, and traded to me for the 180 bumpers that were on my '40 when I bought it. The guy wanted to buy the whole car for the bumpers...I beat him to it.

This is what the correct three bar 1940 grille guard looks like. Someone put one of these on my 1939 Six, but it is not correct for a '39. Packard did have an accessory grille guard for the '39's, but it only had two bars.
