I have tried to the best of my ability to get the cam lobe in the right position. When installing the pump it sits up against the block but the holes are about 1/4” to high. Is it possible there are different lengths of arms ? Mine seems to be long and it hits the cam too soon. Posted on: 2024/7/9 12:04

This arm looks identical to the one on mine. As said by Packard Don, "crank over the engine so that the cam lobe is at its lowest which will make things a bit easier."
