Hello
Need to replace my 56 Packard trunk hinge. Old one is shot.

Is there a procedure to replace it by myself? Do not have any helpers on this.

Trunk is attached to both hinges. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Gary

If no helper, maybe you can strap it to the rafters of the garage. Otherwise you’ll need a lift but finding a helper is better overall.

Good Afternoon...Is it possible to block the trunk and other hinge in place...Old towells for pads and a couple of 2x4s...trunk open...then remove the bad one and install the replacement? Just an idea, as I do a lot of work on my own...Ernie in Arizona
