Bob J - that’s perfect…thank you. I haven’t been able to look closely at mine to compare yet, but the 54 inch total matches up and Mark at A1 confirmed that the 120s were 27in from center of axle to front eye and center of axle to rear eye. I need to look closer, but I believe I have 10 leaves, which might make sense for the higher weight rating.

Oh, happy day! After absolutely confirming that the Coker 7x16 Firestone tires are simply too wide to to fit in the sidemount fender wells and for the hard covers to fit, I purchased the BF Goodrich 7x16 tires from Coker while in Hershey. The arrived very quickly and today, I mounted the two for the spares. I’ll hold off on the others until after body work…hopefully next summer/fall.

With these tires, the hard covers go on very easily, but fit perfectly.

It’s really great to see everything on the car. The hard covers really make the car look nice!

Cleaned off all the blue…

As a follow up on the tires….For anyone needing 7.00x16 tires with sidemount spares, I would highly discourage the Coker Firestone tires. They are much wider than stated on their website. I have brought this to their attention. If you really want the Firestones, get the 6.50x16 for the spares.

That said, the BF Goodrich 7.00x16 tires from Coker fit perfectly with no issues at all and the look great. They are also $6 per tire cheaper…though that likely doesn’t matter at $349 vs $355 per tire.

In short..I recommend the BF Goodrich and would not recommend the Firestones, at least in the 7.00x16 bias tires.

For a fun item….I will now be much better prepared for the next trip to Sonic in the Packard. There just isn’t much rooom to hold the food and no cup holders, etc…

This should help!

Don, the tires look great! Glad the BFGs fit. I've been very happy with the ride quality of my Firestones, but I don't have the full size spare issue to deal with!

I cleaned the whitewalls on the old tires that will stay on until body work….they look a bit better. I should probably clean them more often. Before and after pics…
