Just my
but unless there is some kind of universal bracket with built in accommodations, I think it would be pure luck where you would find a bracket made for the pitch and shape of another brand's post that will precisely match the Packard post. At the least I would expect a gap somewhere. A small gap might be able to be covered up with some kind of pad or gasket under the bracket but I think finding a brand X bracket that had a perfect metal to metal fit would mean your stars were really aligned that day.

This "junker" was posted on one of the FB groups. It has a spot light on it.

I have since learned it's a Unity bracket L16. And they do indeed fit multiple makes and multiple years. I should imagine there might be a tiny gap in a place or two. Interesting though.

I have an NOS kit for my 1951 which includes the hardware such as the adapter, screws, wire retainers, instructions etc. but I’ll need it for my own car. However, if you’re not in a rush I can get some photos when I’m next there.
