This project is still happening, but it's gotten delayed as I am waiting on some TVS Diodes that are backorder. Everything else, including packaging is ready to go.

Diodes finally arrived. Small size adjustment make to case to accommodate the larger TVS diode I spec's.
First batch of cases starting to print on my two 3D printers. Each printer is making the parts for 4 cases as a time. So 8 cases total per run. 11hr print time. I should be able to print around 50 cases per 1000g spool of filament. Should be able to get a few "test" units ready over the next couple of days, for field trials.

Ok, I've got a test batch ready of VintageChargers available.
For those who are interested in beta-testing, I have five (5) available. I'll give you the beta-tester discount of $18, which includes shipping in the lower 48. I figure these will sell for $29.99 plus shipping (approx. $36), once they are through beta-testing. So, that is 50% off for anyone who agrees to beta-test these and report back. I'm looking for folks who are still using their cars right now. I want to have these tested on 6v cars (1920s and earlier, 1930s-1940s,1950s) and 12v cars (1950s). The earlier ones are important as I want to verify that any TVS (Transitive Voltage Spikes) that could occur in the cycling of earlier voltage regulators are absorbed by the additional TVS diode protection I've added. Also, check with turning heater motors on and off, torsion level, etc. I've run these on both my cars while having them on while running the starter, and heater motor, etc. Everything checks out as good, but both cars have internally regulated alternators. So, I'd like to get some field time on actual cars with points-style voltage regulators and earlier 3rd brush-style ones. I am also interested in getting feedback on the User Manual and what is in the package from the Beta-Testers. The User Manual can be read here: packardinfo.com/xoops/html/downloads/vin ... harger/VintageChargerUserManual.pdf This is the contents of the package: • 1 - Owner’s Manual • 1 - VintageCharger Unit • 2 - Screw Mounting Ears • 4 - #6 x 3/4” Screws • 1 - #8 x 3/4” Screw • 1 - Double-Sided Adhesive Mounting Pad • 1 - Alcohol Cleaning Pad • 2 – Ring Terminals So, it's open to the first five people with the cars I want to test. If I already have someone with a car similar to yours, I apologize, but I've only got five test units now, and I need to ration them. Please agree to do this only if you can test it with your car over the next month or so.
