1947 Packard 2106 Rear Brake Drum Needed

My 1947 Custom Super Clipper is in the shop and the mechanic found that the parking brake wouldn't fully disengage. The rivets on the brake shoes put a deep groove into one of the rear drums. The stamping on the rear of the drum is 31181-R and in front, C-64. I'm looking for a replacement in excellent shape or suggestions on whether the drum can be repaired or salvaged?

Any help the members could supply on resources or vendors stocking this part would be greatly appreciated!

Dave

I'd check with Ross Miller (Speedwell Garage) or Gerry (Packards Southwest). I'm sure one of them probably has a good used one.

Their info can be found in the Directory on the Main Menu to the left.

Any of the dealers should have one but note that the casting number is for the center hub only, not the drum as an assembly.
