Thanks, but you’ll have a rebuilt Jag engine when you’re done and can take a LOT of pride in the amount of work you’re doing yourself….Impressive!

I'm following up on an earlier question on my blog...
I would like to get my door strike plates revulcanized, I see that Steele Rubber does this for some 120s. Specifically, they list the service for Packard part number 337621, which covers multiple years. But, according to the parts list, this number was used for the 1937 115 and 120 convertibles, but not the sedans. I called Steele Rubber and they said that they can only provide the service if the parts are identical. My question is this... Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the different part numbers for the 1937 Packard 120 strike plates? I know that one difference would be chrome used for the CDs. I'm trying to figure out if Steele Rubber can actually do this for my strike plates or not. Here is the parts list, photo of one of my strike plates, and the list from Steele Rubber that they show as "matching vehicles" for the service related to part number 337621.

The convertibles (coupes) are just the middle medal wedge portion and not the top or bottom sections.

Thanks, Kevin. I think that answers my question and Steele Rubber doesn’t revulcanize the strikers that I have.
