Bob J - Thanks. The rubber isn’t gone on mine, but it is separating from the metal. The Goop may be what I need to just bond it all together well. I’m also going to call Max Merritt and talk to them. They may be a little more knowledgeable than Steele for the Packard specific applications.

I talked to Fred at Max Merritt...He had more knowledge of the strike plates than Steele did. He said that the only strike plates where revulcanizing service is available is for the convertible models.
For the closed cars, your best option is to restore the best you can. With that, mine aren't in too bad of condition and I think a little glue will have them outlast me.
