I have made some additional progress in that I have dyed polyester carpets that are very similar to the original carpet.

Here are two new dyed carpets (red) next to two samples of Neal Porter carpet. I think you will agree that they are a very close match with a satisfying appearance.

In addition, this carpet is quite affordable compared to many carpets for sale that may cost $300 just for one car of material, before the costs to cut, dye, and bind a set.

Please let me know if you would like a carpet set. Pricing is still up in the air as having to dye a whole roll of carpet is quite the chore, and ordering/applying binding is its own additional expense as well. I am willing to do $600 for the first customer or two and then adjust pricing from there if needed. In other words, I don’t want to take a bunch of orders before I am sure that I am charging a reasonable amount.

FYI, for obvious reasons I will not be making the three Neal Porter colors (dark gray and the two shown).
