So how does one remove the gear from a power window motor? The passenger door motor is more than sluggish even after disassembling everything and lubing the regulator and the gear area. I got a refurbished motor but it didn’t come with its own gear so I have to reuse my old one.

I would buy a can of this and spray the motor gear shaft, regulator hinges, etc...

I have more motors lying around if you want to borrow some for testing. Left or right?

Also did you clean the commututator etc? Hard to belive a passenger window motor would get worn to that point but you never know.

Tap drive gear out. If you are referring to the long gear that goes into regulator..

Awesome! thanks guys! was able to get the gear swapped between the motor and the motor/regulator assembly back together and in the car. Need to test it still
