Are the floorboards on a 1940 120 Painted body color or left in red oxide primer from the factory? Thanks

The floors where typically not purposely painted and usually had a mixture of oversprayed primer and body color.
Even in 54 they were not purposely painted. But, then they had sound deadening/insulation type tar paper over the top of what ever paint ended up on the floor sheetmetal.
