Any oil feed port will work. The Packard Engineers took oil pressure off the rear port directly above the oil pump. That would have the highest reading.

OTOH, putting a tee fitting on the feed to the oil filter would give the lowest reading. That's good information, because it's always the right front lifters which begin clicking.
