Any oil feed port will work. The Packard Engineers took oil pressure off the rear port directly above the oil pump. That would have the highest reading.

OTOH, putting a tee fitting on the feed to the oil filter would give the lowest reading. That's good information, because it's always the right front lifters which begin clicking.

I switched to 5-20. The oil pressure is high until she warms up. Then the gauge is right in the middle or just a hair slightly to the right. She is an animal, 75 on the highway, smooth as silk- thanks to all

I prefer oil pressure to be taken at oil gallery at end far from pump more interested in oil pressure in system than from pump output. Lets you know more of bearing being lubed both would give indication of bearings
