just seen your post . watching with interest. That new motor to the left looks like it will be a big upgrade . Was replacement motor purchased or rebuilt by you?

Since this swap was routinely done by Packard service departments in the late '40s in earlier models like yours, there should be item(s) about doing this in Packard Service Counselors and elsewhere here in the Literature Archives/Factory Service Index?
In this day of clueless Chevy V-8 Frankencars, good to see you sticking with a Packard engine in a Packard.
