Good point, those covers must be new from the lack of yellow.

The seat upholstery could be original as that specific trim code for 55 wears very sturdily and much unlike the other fabrics they used in the same year.

Attached is a photo of a seat I had out of an all original but clapped 77k mile car. Same trim, just the HT version. Sold it to Ross for use in a future Packup.

LOTS of times when you take off the seat covers, the original upholstery which looks good, crumbles from dry rot.

Out your way I'm sure, but in the temperate climes it tends to survive as hoped for.
