Good point, those covers must be new from the lack of yellow.

The seat upholstery could be original as that specific trim code for 55 wears very sturdily and much unlike the other fabrics they used in the same year.

Attached is a photo of a seat I had out of an all original but clapped 77k mile car. Same trim, just the HT version. Sold it to Ross for use in a future Packup.

LOTS of times when you take off the seat covers, the original upholstery which looks good, crumbles from dry rot.

Log in and select Edit under the post. For those uploaded using the icon above, simply delete the code for the image. For the other, look below and check the box next to the one or ones you want to delete and submit the form. This is from memory but if you select Edit, it should be obvious.
