Could be a sticky valve or a burned or warped valve. Either one is easily remedied at low cost, maybe no cost. I'd put the 350 in a 1970 Chevy shortbed half ton... or a late 60's Nova...

Is that a ‘51 Patrician? I think that’s a hydraulic pump on the firewall? I don’t think ‘51 Patricians had hydraulic pumps for a top or windows. Is this car a convertible? Could we possibly see a picture of the whole car?

The same hydraulic pump was also used for power windows and seat. Electric power seat (4-way) didn't appear until 1954 and electric windows didn't appear until 1955.
