Looking to buy side mount fenders for 1937 Packard 120

Sorry, I don’t have any but just curious, are you replacing side mount fenders or adding to a car than never had the option? If the latter, you’ll need more than just fenders.

Yes car did not originally have them please tell me what else I may need?

I'm not sure of all the details but I know there are supports and brackets that are separate from the actual fenders and, of course, covers if this year used them. More importantly, you'll need the beefier suspension that the considerable extra weight requires. Once you're all done, you'll also find that it is far harder working under the hood without taking them all apart and the tires off for access.

I sent you a private message. I can help get you in contact with someone who has a set. He had bought one set and then bought a set that I had because they were in better condition. With luck, he still has the pallet/crate that I shipped my fenders in and can reuse that to ship a set to you.

To add sidemounts, you will need the following:

1. Fenders
2. Sidemount support arms - these are supports between the cowl and fenders
3. Cars equipped with sidemounts had heavier coil springs to accommodate the extra weight
4. Two spare wheels/tires….I know that’s obvious, just listing for completeness.
5. Sidemount spacer/plates….These secure the wheels….locks are optional.
7. Rubber parts - upper and lower pads for the fender wells, upper and lower grommets for the support arms. Steele Rubber has all of this.
