Thanks Marvin. Glad to know others are appreciating my efforts in doing the factory's job for them, 70 years later.

For the attachment, inspect the insert area of the blade adapter accessory. There is a little tang that either clips onto the male or female side of the nub pressed in the arm. Your wipers look to be the same as the ones I just put on my Deluxe 2 weeks ago. There is a little tang that clips into the female side on the adapter attachment. Then the adapter clips onto the arm itself in its own way, which is probably obvious to you. I think you will find them to be quite secure.

Also there's tons of arms out there that will attach to the wiper hub the same way so if the geometry is awkward than you might have non factory arms.

Let me know if you need a drawing for the wiper wiring. I also added some of the vacuum hose lengths to the parts cross-reference.

I know that I am over thinking the issue: It is a huge fault of mine, just ask my two X-wives. I keep looking at the slot on the blade trying to figure out its purpose related to the adapter for the tab on the arm of the wiper. Nothing about the adapter appears to be insertable into this channel. I cannot fathom the manufacturer would create this L shape slot for no reason. I just would like assurance that the two pins on the blade are how the adapter secures the blade to the arm.

Fortunately this eBay seller has like 10 photos of this for some reason:ebay.com/itm/152267626737

So yes, it's clear nothing goes there. It's for attaching to a different type of arm.

There different brand wiper blades which need different adaptors to use .The cleaner are the most used by factory. Here are a few I have from Randy's parts. The ones on left are what I consider to be oem style cleaner look not sure but think they are Anco . Trico were sold by a lot of service stations back in day as replacement think thats right side of picture. All the arms I have are from Trico made in USA

As acolds indicated, the blades you have are the universal replacement type rather than factory but I am sure you can find some proper ones with a little effort. I have stock Trico NOS but only for 1951-1954.
