Flackmaster, yes it is a CO-1300. Red Tag I forgot the pictures which I have added. Is the TC 1402 a Delco Remy part?
Do you know where any are?

That looks like an early basic cutout. The original OD regulator is as you describe, a cube. I do have a tc-4302...of course I wonder with concern, just exactly how yours is wired....not my area of expertise.
Autolite part...replacement for the oem dyneto part...transition era post dyneto sale...

NOS TC-4302. Not my fault of poor storage...could use a bit of a face-lift, bought it in the rain at Hershey several years ago...price negotiable. Tran$lation- not sure what I want - best to call me and catch me in a good mood. 2I4 549 I25O.

I understand that there are certain steps/techniques to properly remove this generator, like avoiding things falling into the timing case.
Can someone enlighten me please, before I screw things up. Thanks

To maintain the generator drive in position, the bronze adapter plate between the generator and the timing chain case MUST remain in place as you slide the generator back and out.

OD, so is the generator timing chain gear keyed or splined to the generator shaft. Does the generator just pull straight back or do you have to tilt the front towards the engine like on a late 20's early 30's Chrysler.

The forward end of the generator armature is splined. Simply pull it straight rearwards to remove, leaving the bronze adapter securely in place. Note the generator has no forward armature support bearing.
If you're going to bench-test the generator, you'll need the special Owen-Dyneto armature support device or have the work done by someone who has it, for example Jason at AER, or improvise something. The illustrations in the 1933-36 Parts List may be helpful to you.
