I recently acquired a spare crankshaft out of a 374. I noticed it had hollow rod journals in comparison to the solid ones on my Clipper 320 engine. Apparently the solid means it's forged? Or does anyone know if they cast them solid for 320 or AMC.

Photo attached of the 320.

The forged 374 crankshafts were manufactured at Studebaker as service replacement stock as the original spare inventory stock was depleted.
