Have an update to this posting. The owner has dragged the two Caribbeans out of the barn and has made an effort to clean them up a bit. But they don't look that much better. I'm seeing a lot of body rust, and the interiors are a disaster in both cars. Some of the chrome did polish up nice. The cars are still available in case anyone is interested. Seller is asking $15K for the '55 and $22.5K for the '56. Better act fast!
Here is the new posting for the '55 Caribbean: facebook.com/marketplace/item/1069643251466217 And here is the new posting for the '56: facebook.com/marketplace/item/2883267728526577

In today's market, with so many project cars up for sale and restoration costs at prohibitive levels, these cars are almost unsaleable at any price. There are too many restored ones out there at very decent prices to consider tackling something that needs a total restoration.
