I have used side rear view mirrors that screw on from Bobs Automobilia, I used them on a 1937 Buick I restored and on my 2 1936 Packard 120 It is a Buick parts website the mirrors are of very good quality, but are not cheap. I also used them on my 1925 Studebaker touring car.

Backup cameras are available with Bluetooth and WiFi that use your phone for the monitor. Less to install and tuck away.

That, sort of, presumes that you have a phone holder installed. Otherwise, it is somewhat questionable to hold the phone and steer with one hand, or have it laying on a seat, or someone else holding it for you

I manufacture some side mirrors and you can see them here (whiteglovecollection.com). There may be something you can use.
Thanks,
Crin

I have had my 40 coupe for 35+ years and there was no mirror on the pass side of this 2 owner fairly original car. I tried different mirrors and was not satisfied with any of them. The belt line mirrors are too low and hard to see much with. About 15 years ago I got a pair of "peep" mirrors. They are all over ebay and aftermarket and can be had for around $50.00 in 3 or 4" for the pair. I just was going to try one on the Pass side. It did not work out of the box as it would not come around far enough so that you could see out of it from the drivers seat, too bad. so I said to myself it is only a $25.00 so I took the mirror head off it, put it in a vise and carefully brought the soft metal around a little bit further. It has been a great addition, mine is 4" and I put a convex mirror on the mirror too. Check it out. John Ulrich Packard Parts.

Opps. That picture was not very good to show. I just took these and also the one on the drivers side that is too low and a bit behind the "A" pillar but I live with it

Those "Peep" mirrors, while not an original offering, do provid e good rear view. They look period acceptably good. They can be easily found on aftermarket vendors sites (Speedway, Summit, JEGS, etc.). Function over form.
