Aside from the length issue very nice looking system. I'm a bit disappointed about the pedal position still needing to be so low as to call attention to an obvious mod. Am wondering how much too long the unit is and which approach you are taking so solve the length issue. I had a few thoughts but don't know if any are possible space wise without seeing an actual unit in place so just curious what you are coming up with.

tried many ways to use unit including shims between floor and toe board plate. Final modification in volved making new toe board from 1/8 plate which moved unit further into interior of car. then got another brake pedal modified it and the replacement pedal and manual brake light switch . Lines were easy installed remote filler on firewall. Only real modification was the holes in firewall to install reservoir. One brake line in picture is NOT copper.

How does the location of the brake pedal feel? Have you had a chance to drive and test the new unit?

have not driven yet but natural feel no problem used my 57 Clipper 84 Olds 98 lincoln MKS and Dodge Durango as tests for reflex use of brake from throttle. One reason I used stock Packard pedal pad is its large size making big target for foot to contact brake. I have been driving for over sixty years many different car and trucks never had any problem with brake gas relationship you get use to what is present. System can be removed and back to stock with only two short brake lines needed.
