Has anyone heard of a seat cover supplier for these cars? I'm not sure I would want to get anything custom made for reasons of cost.

When I was looking for my '53 Cavalier I wasn't able to find any pre-made covers, or the fabric for that matter, I suppose the demand is probably just too low. I'm not sure that even SMS has the patterns, and certainly wouldn't be the place to go if you're trying to keep it economical.

If you buy a car that has seats with "okay" original covers you could disassemble them for patterns and make your own. The seats, springs foam, cotton, etc. will most certainly need some rebuilding as well.

Having said all that, if you want a fancier interior pick up a Patrician that's a couple years newer and keep it original.

What type of 200 are you looking at? 4 door or 2 door sedan? I ask because Rusty McRustface came with front and rear seats reupholstered in black cloth and vinyl. They seem to be in decent shape and useable as is. I would love to get the car roadworthy at some point, but the floors are so bad that I'm not even sure it's feasible. If you get a 2 door maybe you can use them?
