Well it has “1956 PACK” written on it so that’s one clue. Make a scribe mark between the aluminum and the steel on the outside then zip off the 24 nuts and lift the aluminum piece off. Inside you will see a turbine assembly that is the shape of a large bowl with fins everywhere. It simply lifts out. Then send a photo of what you see remaining in the stamping and another photo of the inside of the pump (the aluminum “cover” that you removed first).

I also need to know whether your car is a two-door or four-door.

As that may indicate that it has been apart before, check to see if there is an existing scribe mark and if there is, either use the existing or make sure you note which is which. Do you know if this converter has been apart before and if so, why?
