You need the Ultramatic logo painted or cut out in vinyl in a large size on the wall behind the couch!

Made a quick shopping trip today. Just four 56 Ultramatics, no biggie.

Below, a photo of the first, and perhaps only, 3-way collaboration on a rebuild between Speedwell Garage, Parker's Packards, and Pittsburgh Ultramatic, which happened last Monday. Coincidentally, also for a 1956. Good times all around.

I thought I'd have a little fun with William's logo idea.

This is my Twin-Ultramatic converter assembly station. It's very simple, just being a spare flex plate bolted to the workbench, with a 2" hole drilled thru the bench in the center to accommodate the nose of the converter. However, it significantly eases service by preventing the converter from "walking" around the workbench, and the bolts may be torque-tightened without having to hug the converter to keep it from spinning.

The earlier converters were bolted on instead of having studs, but they don't actually have a tendency to spin when being torque tightened, since they used hex bolts (requiring a second wrench) instead of the T-bolts. Hence this setup is still useful for those.
