His $5k price is a pipe dream, even more so without a title. It's a niche market vehicle.

1940 110 Convertible Coupe. Looks like a very nice older restoration. Do not see anything really wrong with it. Even has the correct sun visors which are almost always missing on these cars. Asking $40K. New Hampshire: facebook.com/marketplace/item/1657311674988786 1956 400. Rough car. Probably not worth restoring as car has been left outside for many years and is badly deteriorated. Does look complete. Ad states car ran good when last driven around the yard - in 2010. Asking $5K. Pennsylvania: facebook.com/marketplace/item/834662235946892 Two 1937 Packard Touring Sedans. Car #1 is a 120. Nearly completed restoration looks very nice, but I don't like the silver body with black fenders paint scheme. Still needs some finishing and assembly. Asking $9,900. Car #2 is a 115C. Rough condition, though body looks pretty decent. Not complete. Seller says he has an engine block for the car but that's about it for drivetrain. Maybe a rod project. Asking $1,900. Pennsylvania: facebook.com/marketplace/item/2141705149975088 1939 Six Business Coupe. Old deteriorated amateur restoration which needs to be completely redone. Very solid body aside from some rust in rear floor areas. Rest of body looks straight and fenders look excellent. Partially disassembled. Love Packards from this era and this one certainly looks like a worthy project. Seller states engine ran recently. Asking $7,800. Tennessee: facebook.com/marketplace/item/1495562401528454 1942 110 Convertible Coupe. Beautifully restored car done to a very high standard. Runs great. Attractive color scheme. A stand out car and a rare last year prewar convertible model. Asking $45K. South Carolina: facebook.com/marketplace/item/729875796808342 1956 Clipper Super Panama hardtop. Solid unrestored. Runs but needs full cosmetic resto. Interior is shot. Good West Coast body with lots of potential. Ad states new gas tank and fuel lines. New taillights with rechromed bezels. Modern alloy wheels and tires (look like expensive ones). Asking $3,700. Chico, CA: facebook.com/marketplace/item/507569348668575 1951 200 Deluxe Sedan. Very solid and rust free unrestored original survivor car. Seller bought from original owner. Car apparently sat in a barn for decades. Asking $2,250. Billings, MT: facebook.com/marketplace/item/1170005234756376 1955 Patrician. Thoroughly trashed out parts car. Hood is destroyed and windshield smashed. Interior gutted. But see a lot of good sheet metal and trim parts remaining. Nice grille and bumpers. Asking only $500. Seller says he will send to the crusher in January if there is no interest. Just wants it gone. Washington State: facebook.com/marketplace/item/1338415524153650 1950 Convertible Victoria. Think it is a Super Deluxe and not a Custom but hard to tell because most of the trim is off. Abandoned restoration project. Car has been repainted in "Resale Red". Ad claims every bolt has been touched and all chrome has been redone. Drive train and interior still need to be redone. No price listed - seller looking for offers. Noticed that front bumper is off of an early 22nd Series so who knows what else is wrong with this thing.
