Vary the blower speed. That's what my Mark IV does. The rheostat generates alot of heat too.

The condenser now is one that was on the parts car AC came from. Not sure if original Packard but doubt it. It is pretty good sized though, covers the entire top 2/3 of radiator. If I do go modern, will go the whole route with one of their large size microtube offerings.

The air speed or blower control is the only factory offering. Single knob turns things on, then further you turn, faster blower goes. Big old rheostat, wire embedded in ceramic but doesn't seem to get too hot. Probably because of a lot of surface area.

That wasn't a computer fan, it's a fan that the aircraft industry uses to move air conditioned air through ducts throughout the cabin, they're small, lightweight, and move a LOT more air than a computer fan would ever dream of. One problem, they're 28 volts! They do have 12V versions though, with the same cfm rating.
