a few posts above is a pic of the radio and glove box button. That glove box button is identicle to mid 60's Rambler.

Is it my imagination or do the bright colors and 2 tones make the car look more like a 56 Ford?

Are we sure those are rifles. To me they look more like construction equipment--maybe air or hydraulic drills like those used for making holes when blasting in tunnels.

Could be any number of things, thats for sure. There was a TV show on digging the large NYC water tunnel recently and those whatevers reminded me of the mobile drills they were using for the blasting holes and inserting the roof support bolts.

The Tatra aircooled V8 looks awesome, i didn't know such thing existed.
I have been told, that they exported automatic transmission oils from other stats (maybe U.S) because they were not able to produce it in a high quality standard!
The problems, why automatic transmission did not got to a wide
usage in the Soviet union is a different story.

Guscha: Thanks for posting the video and pictures of the Tatra. Hans Ledwinka was true automotive genius that very few people around the world know about.

In the early 30's Tatra produced the type 80 which a had six litre V12 engine produced 100 horse power.
