I'm curious as to what other Special Interest Vehicles that other Packard owners have besides their Packard.

Everyone probably already knows all of mine but i'll start off the list anyway:

56 Cushman Eagle.
47 & 48 Chiefs.
1951 TO20 Ferguson tractor.
1965 Springfield Riding lawn mower.

1975 Chevrolet Monza 2+2 (262-V8) - my first car; needs body and paint repair (might end up with total repaint, though).

1975 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega (122-I4) - bone-stock survivor, with only 13K on the clock; originally owned by a little old lady (honest).

Gone, but not forgotten:

1978 Chevrolet Malibu Classic coupe (305-V8) - mostly-stock daily driver, 1984-1988; cosmetic resto 1984, totalled 1988.

1988 Buick Riviera (3800-V6) - bone-stock daily driver, 1994-1998; closest riding comfort to a Packard with T-L Suspension.

To make room in the garage for the '47 Custom Clipper I sold a gorgeous orange 1973 Datsun 240Z. This car had less than 49k original miles. It was an unmolested, well preserved, and unrestored car. It even had the original Hitachi mono AM-FM radio. It looked like a 20k mile car. It went to a good home.

I'm still waiting for my Packard to show up.

In the meantime I have a 1976 Continental Mark IV Givenchy Edition with moonroof, and previously owned a 1979 Mark V Cartier Edition.

I know I've mentioned them before, but here goes:
1978 Ford LTD- stock, 21k miles
1975 Ford Thunderbird- silver LG, stock, 32k miles
1962 Buick Lesabre- stock, 76k miles
1959 Edsel Ranger- stock, 61k miles
Above vehicles are currently owned. Vehicles below are part of my father's estate and still in probate I guess.
1941 Studebaker Commander- stock
10 or 11 vintage Harley-Davidsons from 30's to 60's. 2 are assembled and considered complete.
1939 knucklehead- stock
1947 knucklehead- mild custom

We have had many collector cars prior, but like the Packard best!

Plymouth 1941 (first car at age 14)
Chevys '39; '47; '56 '71 (Vette)
Truimph TR-6

Sold for the Packard:
Olds Cutlass Cnvt. '68
Model A Ford '30

Everyday Car:
Cadillac CTS
(Included this while it is not "SI" it makes me think of a modern Packard 120 - lots of style and luxury for the money, plenty of power and no excuses American.)

Most were drivers, couple of projects but the '56 Chevy was a full stock restoration.

My daily driver is a 1983 Volvo 242 if that counts as a collector car?
Prior to buying the Packard I had a lovely 1979 Mercedes Benz 450SL.

The other car that sits in my garage beside my 53 Packard is my 1966 Chevy Chevelle Malibu. I am only the second owner of the car and has only 49,000 miles on it. I have the orignal bill of sale. The car was purchasee by me in 1986 for $200.00 with 39,000 miles on it.

My wife drove the car when it was brand new in 1966 when her friend purchased the car.

I used to have a few Hudsons, a couple of Kaisers, and several Mopars at one time, but all those are gone and I'm just down to my Packards. I guess I grew out of the "I have to buy as many cars as I can" phase and realized that I'll never be able to fix them all up. I don't want to be one of those 80 year old guys that's "gonna fix that one up one of these days".
