i thought that they sold rolls of relatively flexible tubing that could be bent into the necissary shape, and then the ends could be flared for threaded fittings.

what about brake line? it worked well for my 91 dodge, but thats diesel fuel, which is less reactive and corrosive.

Brake line works fine for fuel line. Most line you will find in auto parts stores is actually rated as brake line. Some of the newer line is coated inside and out to prevent rust.
